Wills and Health Directives
Clear instructions for asset distribution and medical care are essential parts of an estate plan:
Last Will & Testament
A will outlines how your assets will be distributed after your passing. It also allows you to name guardians for minor children and appoint an executor to manage your estate.
Living Wills
A living will details your preferences for medical treatments and end-of-life care, ensuring your wishes are honored when you cannot communicate them yourself.
Trust & Asset Management
Trusts are powerful tools for managing assets, avoiding probate, and providing for your loved ones:
Revocable Living Trusts
A living trust allows you to retain control of your assets while simplifying their transfer to beneficiaries, avoiding the delays and costs of probate.
Special Needs Trusts
If you have a dependent with special needs, this trust ensures they receive financial support without affecting eligibility for government benefits.
Charitable Trusts
For those looking to leave a lasting impact, charitable trusts allow you to support the causes that matter most to you while achieving tax benefits.
Powers of Attorney
Designating a trusted person to manage your affairs if you’re unable to do so is an important part of estate planning:
Financial Power of Attorney
This document authorizes someone to handle financial matters, such as managing accounts, paying bills, and making investment decisions.
Healthcare Power of Attorney
This gives a trusted individual the authority to make medical decisions on your behalf, ensuring that your preferences are respected.
Legacy & Succession Planning
For families and business owners in Fuquay-Varina, legacy planning ensures your values and priorities are reflected in the distribution of your assets:
Families Legacy Planning
We work with families to create plans that provide for loved ones, minimize tax burdens, and support long-term financial stability.
Business Succession Planning
For business owners, a succession plan ensures a smooth transition of leadership, protects the business, and secures its future for the next generation.
